A variety of campus and community resources help Ripon students maintain healthy lifestyles while dealing with the rigors of academic life, challenging personal circumstances and major milestones.
Health Services provides basic health care to all students at no charge, including acute care for illness and emergencies, health and wellness promotion and other proactive health care events and workshops.
Counseling Services also are provided at no charge, and include individual and group counseling, referrals and workshops. Individual and group counseling is designed to help students gain a better understanding of their concerns and assist them in learning to cope more effectively with a variety of issues.
Approximately one-third of all Ripon students participate in varsity level NCAA Division III athletics. In addition, the campus supports a steady roster of intramurals, club sports and physical education courses. Each spring, the College hosts the popular RC² Run/Walk.
The Willmore Center is the main fitness facility for campus and highly used by members of the greater Ripon community. In addition to housing the exercise science department and athletics, the facility features a pool, three fitness studios, a fitness center with weights and cardio equipment, a performance gym and practice gym, three classrooms, an athletic training center and physiology lab, and a 65,000-square-foot field house with four performance courts, and the best NCAA-regulation indoor track in the state of Wisconsin.
