Retired Coach Elaine Coll is the founder of modernday women’s intercollegiate athletics at Ripon College.

Beginning her career in 1973, she organized competition and coached women’s volleyball, basketball and track and field until her retirement in 1993. Her teams won 10 conference championships during her 20-year career, which saw her compile a combined basketball and volleyball record of 391-326. She coached two All-Americans and 60 All-Conference players. She was inducted into the Ripon College Athletic Hall of Fame in 1995. Elaine remains actively involved at Ripon College. She leads a regular “Ultimate Fitness” class for faculty and staff and attends College events of all types.
