2020 is the 100th anniversary year of the 19th amendment to the Constitution which gave women the right to vote, as well as the founding of the League of Women Voters by Ripon native Carrie Chapman Catt. “The Right to Vote: Past, Present and Future” will address the historical and contemporary importance of the struggle to expand and protect suffrage in the United States.
