Remembering 9/11: Are We Still Divided?

This is a panel discussion sponsored by the Center for Politics and the People on memories of 9/11 and whether we are still divided over its meaning. Panelists will reflect on their personal experiences with the event, what they see to be its impact on community-building today in the United States and internationally, and how far our empathy extends in the aftermath of this tragedy.

Panelists include:

Sarah Frohardt-Lane, assistant professor of history
Mohammad Navid Nafisi Bahabadi ’22
Matt Holly, proprietor of Mugs Coffeehouse in Ripon and a former ROTC
instructor at Ripon College
Paul Ethington, pastor of Trinity Evangelical Free Church

The panel will be moderated by Ellen Sorensen, first vice president of
the League of Women Voters of the Ripon Area.

The event is co-sponsored by the Center for Politics and the People
and the League of Women Voters.
