The Center for Politics and the People will host a ZOOM webinar panel on Constitution Day with two Appellate Court African-American judges who will discuss their comparative experiences in working for justice and human rights.
Judge Neal was the first African-American elected to the Arkansas Circuit Court in 1993 (and subsequently appointed to the Arkansas Court of Appeals in 1996). Judge White was elected to the Milwaukee County Circuit Court in 1992 and the first African American appointed to the Wisconsin Court of Appeals in 2020.
