CANCELED: Immigration Crisis: Lives at Risk at our Southern Border

March 12 @ 6:30 pm - 7:45 pm

Because of concerns related to the coronavirus, the panel discussion on the immigration crisis at our southern border has been canceled. It will be rescheduled at a later date.

This is a panel discussion on what is happening at our southern border to migrants fleeing for their lives in Central American and seeking asylum in the United States. The camps they are forced to live in by our government in Mexico are inhumane and many migrants are subject to physical attacks and even human trafficking. The panelists who have some direct experience with the border will discuss this serious moral issue.

The panel is sponsored by the Center for Politics and the People and La Unida, the Hispanic student organization.
