Bridging the Political Divide: How We Can Advance Civil Discourse

How can we have civil discussions with others whose views are fundamentally opposed to ours? Join us to to discuss why it’s so important that we learn how to better communicate with each other.
Panelists include:
– Craig Gilbert, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Washington Bureau Chief and author of “The Wisconsin Voter” political blog
– Joy Cardin, former host of the award-winning “The Joy Cardin Show” at Wisconsin Public Radio
– Sarah Lloyd, dairy farmer outside of Wisconsin Dells who also works for the Wisconsin Farmers Union (WFU) and the Wisconsin Food Hub Cooperative; challenged Congressman Glenn Grothman from Wisconsin’s 6th congressional district in 2016

Marty Farrell, Professor Emeritus of Politics and Government, will act as moderator of the discussion.
