Soprano Maria Reber will present her streamed senior recital May 5

Maria Reber ’21 of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, a soprano, will present her senior recital at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 5. Because of the ongoing campus restrictions, the recital will be streamed at ripon.edu/live-events.

Selections will explore the many aspects of love, from romantic love and longing to love of the world around us. They include: “Quatre chansons de jeunesse,” by Claude Debussy; “A Horse with Wings,” by Ricky Ian Gordon; “Ah! tardai troppo … O luce di quest’anima” from “Linda di Chamounix,” by Gaetano Donizetti; “Frauenliebe und Leben,” by Robert Schumann; and “My Ship” from “Lady in the Dark,” by Kurt Weill.

Reber is majoring in music with a minor in theatre. She will be taking a gap year before starting her master’s in music therapy program at Augsburg University.
