Ripon College Jazz Ensemble to perform Dec. 13

The Ripon College Jazz Ensemble will perform Friday, Dec. 13. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Demmer Recital Hall, C.J. Rodman Center for the Arts. Admission is free and open to the public.

Several selections by Duke Ellington and Benny Golson will be featured. Also to be performed are popular recorded jazz pieces such as “Lucretia MacEvil,” by David Clayton Thomas; “After the Love has Gone,” by David Foster, Jay Graydon and Bill Champlin; “Land of Make Believe,” by Chuck Mangione; “Uptown Funk by Ronson, Mars, Lawrence, Bhasker, Gallaspy and Williams; and “Jump, Jive an’ Wail,” by Louis Prima.

The director is Assistant Professor of Music Tobin Shucha.
