FREE WHEELIN' CHILDREN'S BICYCLE SAFETY EXPO & FUN RACE

The Ripon Medical Center and the Ripon College Office of Community Engagement will present a free Bicycle Safety Expo and Fun Race for children.

Thanks to the generous support of Wheel & Sprocket bicycle stores, free helmets will be provided to the first 100 children. Plus, there will also be door prizes and raffle drawings at the event. All children will be eligible to win door prizes, including a brand new Cannondale bicycle. Raffle tickets will be available to purchase the day of the expo and kids can win one of four Trek mountain bikes, portable DVD players, iPods, gift cards and more!

Games and activities will take place from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on the 100 block of Watson Street. All games and activities are free and will include the following:

  • Bicycle safety mini-course
  • Teddy bear clinic
  • Finger printing
  • Bouncy castle
  • Dunk tank
  • Carnival games with prizes
  • Tours of the Ripon ambulance and fire trucks
  • Ripon Restaurant Group mascot races

The Kids' Fun Race will take place at 11:45 a.m.

To help us prepare for the event, please pre-register your child for the free Kids' Fun Race by calling the Ripon College Office of Community Engagement at 920-748-8163.
