Support the United Way
How is Ripon College involved in the United Way?
While Ripon College faculty and staff have participated in the United Way’s annual campaign for over twenty years, this year Ripon College is the Pacesetter for the United Way Campaign, and our goal is to raise 10% of United Way’s $70,000 goal.
That means the fundraising goal for Ripon College’s faculty, students and staff is: $7,000.
Why use a pig to collect money?
1. Pigs are highly intelligent animals.
2. Everyone has spare change they don’t know where to keep. By feeding the pig, you are not only stowing your coins efficiently, but you are also providing much needed funds to the community of Ripon by aiding United Way.
When is the piggy bank fundraising initiative over?
Pigs should be turned in by November 18th at 5pm in the Business Office on the Ground Floor of Smith Hall.
What should I do if my pig is full before November 18th?
First, congratulate yourself on your generosity! Then, drop the money off in the Business Office and they will collect and count it. Then you can leave with a fresh, empty pig, and head out into the world to gather even more coins for a great cause.
