Students transferring to Ripon College from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 18 transferable semester credit hours and a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 to 4.0 are eligible for Ripon’s transfer scholarships.
The scholarships and awards listed below will be bestowed upon an applicant after review of the admission application by the scholarship committee or a recommendation by a requested party. All scholarships and awards from Ripon College are stackable up to $19,000 per year. Additional institutional aid based on financial need also may be available.

As a future Ripon College student with demonstrated talent in the areas of art, music or theatre, you may be eligible for our fine arts scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 per year. While a major in the area is not required, you must demonstrate a commitment for pursuing the fine arts through your continued participation in the area of the scholarship while a student at Ripon. Performance/Recognition Scholarships can be combined with other institutional academic scholarships up to a maximum of $19,000 per year. *Annual Value: Each award may require a minimum GPA or other requirements for renewal.

Other Awards & Scholarships
The Alumni Scholarship was established for alumni to recognize and encourage students who they believe would be a good fit, based on their own experiences, to pursue an education at Ripon College. This scholarship requires a recommendation letter from the alumnus. The Alumni Award Recommendation form can be found here.
The legacy award is given to those students who are continuing the family tradition by attending Ripon College. Students are eligible if their grandparents, parents or siblings have attended or are attending Ripon College.
The Ripon College Communication Consortium Scholarship is given to those students who demonstrate exceptional talent and/or diverse past experiences in journalism, media production and speech/debate activities. A separate application and one-page essay, due no later than March 1, are required. Click here to start the application.
Those students who are interested in pursuing a full Army ROTC scholarship are eligible for the ROTC Enhancement Grant. The introductory military science course is required to be taken in the first year on campus.
Current members of the Phi Theta Kappa national honor society are eligible for a renewable $19,000 scholarship.
