Each June, during Alumni Weekend, Ripon College faculty members provide lectures on contemporary topics as part of Ripon’s Summer Heritage Lecture Series. These lectures are open to all alumni and local community members.

Exploring World Religions with Professor Brian Smith (online & live lectures)
This summer Ripon College alumni and friends once again took advantage of an unique opportunity to join Professor of Religion Brian Smith for a special five-week online lecture series on World Religions. Each week, participants studied a different religion, accessed readings and video lectures at their own pace and tuned in live to debate the issues with fellow classmates. This predominantly online series culminated in a face-to-face session held during Alumni Weekend, with more than 50 people in attendance.
The Ceresco Prairie Conservancy in Pictures (live lecture & prairie tour)
Professor of Biology Skip Wittler this summer led a lecture during Alumni Weekend that explored the botany of the prairie through a series of high resolution photos. This applied lecture encouraged participants to bring their cameras to practice their skills during a tour of the prairie.
