Intramurals is now hiring Student Supervisors for the 2008-2009 Academic year.  Positions will be open until filled.  Positions will begin work in the Spring of 2007 and continue into the 2008-2009 intramural season.  Please use the following links for more information:

Officials

• All students are afforded the opportunity to officiate Intramural Programs contests.
• The Coordinator of Intramural Programs will oversee the hiring and training of all intramural officials.
• All students are encouraged to officiate as well as participate in the sport of the season. Any student wanting to officiate should contact the Coordinator of Intramural Programs.
• Intramural Programs does not require that officials be certified by the WIAA, though such certifications are desireable.
• All officials are required to attend a meeting prior to seasonal play to discuss rules and conduct for each sport.  Work schedules will be available on the Ripon College Intramural website.

Officiating Guidlines

• Please be at your assigned area 15 minutes before your scheduled game.
• Remember to bring your whistle.
• Officials for the first games are expected to help set-up the area of play.
• Officials for the last games are expected to help break down the area of play.
• You must wear and return an officials jersey for each night you are officiating.
• All officials must read the Intramural Handbook prior to officiating any games.  Officials must also read all individual sport rules for the sprt they are officiating prior to their first game.
• If you must miss a game, you are responsible for finding your own substitute from the list of names given to you at the pre-season meeting.  If you cannot find a replacement, contact intramurals@ripon.edu 48 hours in advance.
