What is Ripon After Dark?
Late night programming at Ripon College is sponsored by the Office of Residence Life and is known on campus as Ripon After Dark (RAD). RAD is a series of fun, late-night activities and events for RC students once a month on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday nights between 9 p.m. and 1 a.m. that allows students the chance to have fun in the college’s residence halls or in the student union. RAD provides an opportunity for students to gain experiences in programming, leadership development, and responsible social interaction.
What kinds of activities take place on these nights?
You name it! We offer anything from games to arcade tournaments to movie nights to fun competitions. Past events have included open mic nights, trivia competitions, grocery bingo games, craft nights, movies, comedy nights, and that’s just the start. Who knows what might be planned for the next semester!
How can I get involved?
For most of these nights, there’s nothing to sign up for ahead of time – just look for on-campus announcements, and show up to the designated campus location prepared to have fun! Most events allow you to win fun gifts, food, or gift cards to local area businesses. For more information on RAD events, please contact the Office of Residence Life at 920-748-8146.
