Think life at a small college is uneventful? Think again.
"There's so much to do at Ripon, even on the weekends,
that you often have to prioritize what you’re going to do," says
Joe Fontaine, who has a show on Ripon radio, WRPN 90.1; cheers on the
Ripon basketball team; writes for College Days, the student
newspaper; contributes to a political blog ... well, you get the idea.
He's busy.
Sure, Ripon has all types of clubs and organizations (70), intramural
sports (14), intercollegiate sports (20). But it's the spontaneous
gatherings of friends that really make Ripon different. "We're
like family here," says Amanda Breitenfeldt. "People care
about each other, and that's reflected in the respect and support
people show each other."
