You have two options for audio-only files: Listen to an MP3 of the podcast or listen to it through iTunes. For video podcasts, you can watch right in iTunes or play the MP4 video using Apple QuickTime.

If you have iTunes, all you need to do is click the "Subscribe via iTunes link. iTunes will open (if it isn't already) and take you to the Ripon College Podcast page, where you can download whateve podcast(s) you wish to your iTunes library. If you don't have iTunes, consider it. It's really swell. You can get it here for free (Mac or PC).

If you don't have iTunes (or simply prefer to use Windows Media Player, Winamp, etc. to play audio files), your best bet is to click the "Download MP3" link.

If you're using Windows, it should ask you if you want to open or save the file. If you choose "Open," your browser will start playing it using whatever your default audio player is. If you choose "Save," a File Explorer window will open and you can save the .MP3 file wherever you'd like. Open it from that location and it will start to play in one program or another.

If you're on a Mac, it works the same way, but you probably need to hold down "CTRL" as you click the link to get the option to save.

If you prefer RSS, click the "Subscribe via RSS" link. To find out what to do from there, check out "What is RSS." Most RSS aggregators will play MP3 files from within the application.
