Parent & Family Leadership

The following leadership and volunteer opportunities exist for parents and families to be involved in helping Ripon College continue to recruit bright and capable students to its campus. For questions on how to get involved, send us an email.

Parents’ Advisory Committee

This volunteer-based organization works closely with the Office of Constituent Engagement to help provide College information to prospective and current students and their parents and families. Additionally, the PAC can bring unresolved issues or concerns to the table.

Parent/Family Programs Office

As part of the Office of Constituent Engagement, the Parent/Family Programs Office organizes the activities associated with Homecoming & Family Weekend each fall. They also provide a parent mixer during Summer Orientation as well as a special reception area with refreshments during Move-In Day.

Volunteer Opportunities

Although there are many opportunities to get involved throughout the year, Summer and Fall Orientation and Family Weekend, in particular, are wonderful opportunities for current parents and families to connect with first-year parents and families, and share tips and experiences.

Alumni/Parent Online Organization

Parents can also access the Ripon College Alumni Online Community, which is full of useful information for parents, including special events and news.

Parent/Family e-Newsletter

Parents and families receive an electronic newsletter each month that shares profiles of students and faculty, reports on important student events and campus programs, and lists offices devoted to helping students succeed during their time at Ripon.
