Assistant Professor of Sculpture

Ripon College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Sculpture beginning August 2010.

Responsibilities include teaching all levels of sculpture, including Introductory and Advanced Sculpture and Ceramics, as well as upper-level topics courses in Sculpture and capstone courses. Four courses per semester.  Additional responsibilities include rotation of departmental functions such as curating the campus gallery and permanent collection, as well as special projects and committees. Faculty will participate in advising and institutional service responsibilities as well as continuing in their own scholarship.

 

MFA in Sculpture required with excellent exhibition record and previous college teaching or teaching assistantship experience. Candidates should have a commitment to excellence in teaching in a liberal arts environment and to continued engagement in their field of sculpture.

Applicants should submit a letter of application, curriculum vitae, CD portfolio including 20 images as well as three color prints of representative work, CD portfolio including 20 images of student work, as well as the names and contact information of three references.
