The Office of Community Engagement provides the following opportunities for students:

• Nonprofit Career Opportunities and Internships -- Check out our growing list of summer internships/jobs and post-graduation opportunities here!
  
• Service Teams -- Participate in a single event or find a larger project through teams devoted to education, health, companionship, literacy, community development, homes and families and cross-cultural issues.  If you're interested in ongoing service and/or leadership opportunities, consider joining one of our service teams as a member.  You'll then get to help plan and execute projects and events based on your ideas and passions!
  
• Bonner Program -- If you're dedicated to service and social justice, you should look into the Bonner Program.  While this service-based scholarship program usually recruits first-year students, from time to time there are openings for upperclassmen as well.
  
• Academic Community Engagement -- Incorporate your passions into your courses through service-learning, community-based research and internships.
  
• Community Engagement Fair -- The OCE hosts an annual volunteer fair where you can meet a number of area community partners offering volunteer opportunities, jobs and internships.
