ADVOCAP ELL

ADVOCAP's English Language Learner (ELL) Program provides English language support for people for whom English is not their native language. This program includes evening classes in Berlin and Ripon and summer classes for migrant workers, as well as independent study using computers. Provided by ADVOCAP. the vision is that all low-income and disadvantaged people in our service area will have the opportunities, assets and tools necessary to obtain the basic necessities of a healthy and dignified life.

Diversity Circles "Straight Talk"

Diversity Circles' mission is to build a stronger community by expanding the participation of citizens -- diverse by race, ethnicity, gender, age, religion and socioeconomic levels -- in dialogue that will foster greater understanding, cooperation and community participation among Ripon's diverse populations. They are committed to fostering racial justice and working, through positive conflict resolution, toward solving our community's social and economic problems.
