ADVOCAP is a community-based and locally controlled, private, nonprofit corporation founded in 1966. ADCOCAP's vision is that all low-income and disadvantaged people in our service area will have the opportunities, assets and tools necessary to obtain the basic necessities of a healthy and dignified life. ADVOCAP provides family services through their affordable housing and community service departments.
Other Agencies with which the Homes and Families Team works:
Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. Join us to build houses with families in need when there are local builds occurring.
F.A.V.R
Friends Aware of Violent Relationships is a private, not-for-profit agency addressing domestic violence in Fond du Lac County. It provides a 24-hour crisis line, shelter, therapy, legal and housing advocacy, support groups, emergency transportation and community education. Services are provided free of charge on a confidential, nondiscriminatory basis in an environment that promotes self-empowerment and positive growth.
