Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities

B.R.A.V.E

Building Resiliency, Assets and Values in Everyone. BRAVE is an after-school program offered at the elementary and middle school levels that provides educational, social, health and recreational programming in a collaborative manner to all members of the community in a safe, healthy and supportive environment. Programming includes academic study help, learning enrichment and parenting programs. Volunteers alwyas are needed in the afternoons from Monday through Thursday.

Big Brothers Big Sisters

Big Brothers Big Sisters helps children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-on-one relationships with measurable impact. This is accomplished through developing positive relationships that have a direct and lasting impact on the lives of young people. Become a Big for a child in the area or work with the school-based mentoring program by volunteering over your lunch break.

Other Agencies the Education Team works with:

Boys and Girls Club

Boys and Girls Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence. The Boys and Girls clubs of Berlin and Fond du Lac strive to enable all young people, especially those who need them most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

Ripon Public Schools

Mentoring and tutoring programs at all grade levels are the most frequent services provided by Ripon College students at Ripon Public Schools. The Ripon High School, REACH Charter School, Middle School, Murray Park Elementary (3-5) and Barlow Park Elementary (K-2) offer opportunities to work one-on-one with students or organize activities for groups of students.
