Configuring a Macintosh for RipNet: OS X
These instructions will guide you through configuring your Macintosh
for a connection to RipNet. Please make sure that your Ethernet network
cable is securely connected to your computer and to the wall jack you
specified on your RipNet application.
Note: There are various setup assistants your mac may run at first
start-up. These instructions walk you through setting up your Mac manually,
without using the setup assistants. So when you get to any setup assistant,
just close it. If you've already configured your machine using a setup
assistant, these instructions will verify and/or modify the settings
made.
