Al Jarreau's Homecoming

It's going to be an event when one of Ripon College's most famous alumni returns to campus. Especially when it is Al Jarreau ’62 performing a concert to benefit scholarship endowment. Jaye Alderson talked with the five-time Grammy Award winner to find out what it was like for the vibrant Jarreau to return to his alma mater in October.

Under Construction

There is a new building going up on campus for the first time in 34 years. Plus, there are numerous other projects taking place as part of improvement projects funded by a $20-million low-interest bond. Director of Media and Public Relations Cody Pinkston takes a look at what Ripon is doing to "keep up with the Joneses."

New Wizard on Campus

Lee Reinsch ’89 welcomes new Vice President and Dean of Faculty Gerald Seaman to Ripon and discovers the similarities between Gandalf, playing hockey and being a college dean.

Alumni Weekend 2006: A Photo Retrospective

The smiles in the images captured by photographer Jim Koepnick really say it all, so why bother with words at all? Of course, we do provide captions in case time has altered old friends beyond recognition, and we pay tribute to the latest distinguished alumni, an outstanding young alumna and inductees into the Athletic Hall of Fame. See if you recognize anyone.

The gleam in his eyes says it all. Al Jarreau ’62 thoroughly enjoyed his visit to campus, and his Oct. 7 performance filled the J.M. Storzer Center.
