The College expanded its reach into the community literally and figuratively through the acquisition of the Carnegie Library building in downtown Ripon. The institution also updated its image with the adoption of new logos and was the recipient of a $2.72-million bequest, the largest single gift in College history. Much more happended throughout the year. We've noted some of those notable events and achievements here.
Four of Ripon's faculty members received special awards in 2005-2006. We celebrate their recognition and recognize that teaching is a truly special occupation for these individuals. In fact, referring to their work as "a job" hardly seems appropriate, for each is driven by a passion and commitment to excellence that is noticed and appreciated by the students they mentor.
