Comedian Rob Paravonian coming to the Terrace Sept. 28
Sept. 14, 2007

RIPON, Wis. – Comedian Rob Paravonian will perform at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28 in the Terrace as part of the Ripn Collge’s homecoming festivities.

Paravonian supplements the traditional stand-up routine with witty songs and always has his guitar in tow. He first found his passion for comedy in college and has since studied at the legendary Second City Training Center and appeared Comedy Central and VH1.

Members of the College’s Student Media and Activities Committee booked Paravonian after seeing him perform at last year’s conference hosted by the National Association for Campus Activities. Students say they found his act engaging because of his excitement and down-to-earth sense of humor.

The comedian is most famous for his song “Pachelbel Rant” which chronicles the torment he endured as a young cellist playing Pachelbel’s Canon in D. Of course, he will cover a wide range of topics.

Paravonian’s performance will be followed by a fireworks display on Upper Sadoff.
