Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra back in Ripon Nov. 11

RIPON, Wis. – The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra (MSO) will perform at 7 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 11 in Ripon College’s Wyman Gymnasium of the J.M. Storzer Center.


Back for its 35th appearance on campus, the MSO this year will be lead by New Resident Conductor Stuart Chafetz. Known for his innovative and exciting classical, pops and family concerts, Chafetz comes to Milwaukee from the Maui Pops Orchestra.


Since its inception in 1959, the MSO has consistently received critical acclaim for artistic excellence. The MSO remains the largest cultural organization in Wisconsin and is considered one of the finest orchestras in the country. Made up of 88 resident musicians, the MSO performs more than 120 classics, pops, family, and education concerts each season.

Ticket prices are $15 for adults; $12 for senior citizens, age 62 and older, Ripon College faculty and staff and $8 for youth, age 18 and younger. The Caestecker Fine Arts series is made possible by an endowment from Ripon College Honorary Life Trustee Thomas E. Caestecker. Now in its 21st year, the Caestecker Fine Arts Series brings well-known theatre, art, dance and music performances to campus.
