Center for Social Responsibility

The Center for Social Responsibility provides innovative space for students, faculty, staff and the community to examine and experience service, ethics, leadership and social innovation and entrepreneurship.

The Center provides academic opportunities for students and opportunities for learning beyond a standard curriculum through community engagement, service learning, social entrepreneurship and interdisciplinary studies in the development of ethical, sustainable and socially responsible leaders at Ripon College.

Academically, the Center oversees an innovative new minor in socially responsible leadership with two emphases: social entrepreneurship and innovation, and community engagement and service learning. To learn more about this program, click HERE.

Beyond the classroom, the Center hosts opportunities for service in numerous ways. Students can embark upon careers as Creative Enterprise Consultants to support non-profits and businesses off campus. They may also engage with the community in service projects, compete as members of the traveling Ethics Bowl Team, or meet for discussions and guest lectures offered throughout the academic year. Spring 2015 Internships

The following is a list of unpaid internship opportunities that the Center for Social Responsibility has received from members of the campus community, local businesses and area non-profits. We highly encourage all of our students to explore these opportunities to develop professional skills and gain experience that will stand out on a resume. If you are a junior or senior, you may qualify to receive pay for internship work through the Great Lakes Career Ready Internship Initiative. For more information regarding the Great Lakes grant, please contact Alex Kurowski at (920) 748-8189 or at
