At Ripon College, everything we do is rooted in community.
Our collaborative approach to shared governance, healthy faculty-administrative relations and work/life balance efforts are consistently recognized in The Chronicle of Higher Education’s “Great College To Work For” ranking.
We believe in transparent and participatory decision-making. Collaboration, openness and a respect for the opinions of all members of the Ripon community characterize our governance structures. Many of our most visible traditions stem from decisions made as part of cross-campus committees that consist of a healthy mix of administrators, faculty, staff and students. From how we form our new employee selection committees to planning our Homecoming festivities our style is participatory.
Ripon students, through Student Senate, enjoy a great deal of freedom over how their student activity fees are spent as well as what entertainers we bring to campus.
