Academic/Faculty Positions

Visiting Assistant Professor – Human Anatomy and Physiology

Ripon College seeks full time visiting assistant professor with expertise and experience in teaching anatomy and physiology of humans starting January 2015, continuing until May 2016. Outstanding teacher with Ph.D. or other relevant terminal degree is recommended; ABD or significant progress toward Ph.D. will be considered. Responsibilities include teaching Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II with labs, with the possibly of contributing to our introductory courses. Position may continue for additional semesters. Head Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Coach

Ripon College, a NCAA Division III institution and member of the Midwest Conference, is seeking a Head Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Coach. This is a full-time twelve month position with benefits.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, all aspects of coaching; recruiting, scheduling, travel and budget management. In addition other responsibilities will be required dependent upon the applicant’s qualifications and experience. Knowledge of and previous adherence to NCAA rules and regulations, as well as dedication to the academic development of the student-athlete is required. Bachelor’s degree and coaching experience required, master’s preferred. Position is effective immediately.

Assistant Director/Tutoring Coordinator

Ripon College, a private four year liberal arts institution is seeking a full-time, Assistant Director/Tutoring Coordinator for their U.S. Department of Education Student Support Services and McNair Scholars programs. Duties will include coordination of a successful existing tutoring program, recruiting and training of tutors, maintaining accurate records and communicating successfully with faculty and other department staff. In addition, the successful candidate will meet with undergraduate students regarding educational planning and collaborate regularly with program staff on progress of students relative to academic success and graduation from college. Additional duties will include working closely with the McNair Scholars staff in assisting students with activities leading to enrollment into graduate school including assisting in the facilitation of programs for GRE preparation and graduate school visits. Master’s degree required with related and relevant experience working with diverse populations relative to first generation status, racial and economic underrepresentation.
