Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology

Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology

Ripon College, a Phi Beta Kappa undergraduate liberal-arts college with a history of commitment to excellence in undergraduate education, seeks a one year Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology beginning August 2015. Pending administrative approval and funding, the position may be continued for additional semesters with the possibility of becoming tenure-track.

Ph.D. or ABD status in Psychology with a background in Behavioral Neuroscience is required. Previous teaching experience expected. The position involves teaching undergraduate classes in experimental and clinical neuroscience and offers the opportunity to do research with motivated undergraduates. Additional classes will include Research Design and Statistics, some General Psychology, and topics of the successful candidate’s interest. Teaching load is three classes per semester.

Assistant Professor of Economics

Ripon College invites applications for a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor beginning August 2015 to participate in developing a new major in business economics.

Doctorate preferred; ABD will be considered; MBA and/or management experience desirable.

Preferred teaching areas are several of the following: a senior seminar, entrepreneurship, economic forecasting or other data analysis, industrial organization, and economic principles, in a teaching load of three courses per semester.

Ripon College invites applications for a Director of Student Accounts. Founded in 1851, Ripon College is an independent, residential, Liberal Arts College in Wisconsin, and is nationally recognized for its quality undergraduate education.

The Director of Student Accounts position is a full-time 12-month administrative position reporting to the Controller and is responsible for all aspects of student’s accounts, general billing and receivables, Perkin’s loan administration, bank deposits and other duties assigned by the Controller. This position requires a high level of confidentiality and routinely interacts with students, parents, faculty and staff.

Two to four years accounting experience and a Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Jenzabar EX administrative software a plus.

Accounts Payable Technician/Business Office Generalist

Ripon College invites applications for an Accounts Payable Technician. Founded in 1851, Ripon College is an independent, residential, Liberal Arts College in Wisconsin, and is nationally recognized for its quality undergraduate education.

This is a full-time non-exempt position reporting to the Controller and is responsible for all aspects of accounts payable. The Accounts Payable Technician routinely interacts with students, faculty and staff. This position requires a high level of confidentiality and is responsible for accounts payable; payroll processing; general journal entry and posting; bank reconciliations; and other duties as assigned by the Controller.

An Associates or Bachelor’s degree with business office background preferred. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Jenzabar EX administrative software a plus.
