Visiting Assistant Professor – Human Anatomy and Physiology

Ripon College seeks full time visiting assistant professor with expertise and experience in teaching anatomy and physiology of humans starting January 2015.

Outstanding teacher with Ph.D. or other relevant terminal degree is recommended; ABD will be considered. Will teach Human Anatomy and Physiology II in the spring semester. Possibility for the position to continue for additional semesters with Human A & P I in the fall semester and Human A & P II in the spring.

Forensic Coach

Ripon College seeks a full-time academic year Forensic Coach for the 2014-15 year beginning in August.

This is a one-year position. Applicants will have experience coaching individual events, preferably at the collegiate level, and work with an established team of 25-30 students. The Forensics Coach will instruct students in all individual events including oral presentation of literature, public address, and limited preparation events. Weekend tournament travel required. B.A. required, M.A. preferred. Candidates with appropriate credentials may be eligible to teach a course in the applicant’s field of expertise.

Academic Support Specialist Positions

Ripon College seeks three part-time, non-benefit eligible academic year (35 weeks) Academic Support Specialists beginning in August of 2014. These positions report to the Administrative Assistant to the VP and Dean of Faculty and serve the clerical/technical needs of Ripon College faculty.

Strong clerical, computer and interpersonal communication skills required.

Responsibilities include correspondence, word processing, filing, data entry and management, record keeping, typing, and receptionist duties. Desktop publishing skills a plus. These positions demand a high degree of confidentiality.

Digital Media Specialist

Ripon College, a nationally recognized liberal arts and sciences college in Ripon, WI, seeks a Digital Media Specialist to join its fast-paced, deadline-driven Marketing and Communications team.

This position will work to advance the institution’s brand and drive engagement among target audiences through the use of effective digital storytelling on the school’s websites, blogs, social media channels, and in other online communications. The successful candidate will generate videos, photos, web and email graphics, audio and website copy that conveys the Ripon experience and drives measurable results across all channels. He/She will provide project management for multimedia campaigns and ensure that the Ripon College image and brand is communicated consistently and appropriately through various platforms. Candidate should have an understanding of marketing principles and branding, and demonstrated success with producing social video. He/She also will be responsible for managing, organizing and optimizing Ripon’s photo and video libraries, and will assist in making regular updates to College websites and social media channels.

The Digital Media Specialist reports to the Executive Director of Marketing and Communications and works closely with faculty, staff, students and alumni across the College community.

The Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree preferred in digital media production, marketing, communications, or graphic design, or a related field. Candidates with an Associate Degree in Digital Media or related field will be considered. 3-5 years work experience related to digital storytelling. Extensive knowledge of Final Cut and Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop. Proficient with social sites including: YouTube, Google Apps, Vimeo, Facebook, Twitter, etc. Should have experience working with livestream software and web services such as YouTube Hangouts On Air). Proficient with desktop software in both PC and Mac environments. Ability to work some nights and weekends as required. Physically able to perform essential functions in a variety of settings.
