Special Assistant to the President

The Office of the President at Ripon College seeks a Special Assistant to the President to serve as a liaison to the Board of Trustees and to coordinate special activities of the administration. The position will be responsible for a full range of activities and will work closely with Ripon College President Zach Messitte, the Board of Trustees, the administrative leadership team of the College as well as faculty, staff and alumni.

A Bachelor’s degree is required and an advanced degree is preferred. A background in statistics, data analysis and knowledge of the major trends in higher education is desirable. Applicants should be able to demonstrate exceptional written and oral communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Three to five years of related work experience, preferably in a selective college environment is required. A commitment to the value of liberal arts education, a high level of energy and attention to detail, and an ability to work independently and contribute as a member of a team is necessary. Applicants must also be willing to occasionally travel and work some evenings and weekends during specific times of the year. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license. Salary is commensurate with experience.
