Head Coach of Men’s and Women’s Cycling

Ripon College invites applications for a full-time, twelve-month position of Head Coach of Men’s and Women’s Cycling. Ripon is completing a $22 million expansion of athletic facilities, including a dedicated team room for cycling and a 65,000 square foot indoor field house.

Cycling at Ripon College is officially recognized as a varsity team by USA Cycling, competing at the Division II level. Building on a strong foundation established by volunteer and part-time coaches, the successful candidate will build a thriving varsity cycling program, focused on mountain biking. The new full-time coach will oversee all aspects of the program, including, but not limited to, recruitment of qualified student-athletes, monitoring academic progress toward degree, budgeting, scheduling, competition and practice preparation, individual and program development, conducting camps and clinics, and performing other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics. Candidates should have an understanding of the role of athletics in a liberal arts setting as well as having demonstrated success coaching cycling, preferably at the college level. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
