The Center for Politics and the People was created to promote constructive political debate, analyze public policy, and foster the engagement of citizens and their government.
Since its launch in 2014, the center has organized numerous events featuring scholars, lawmakers, journalists, prognosticators, political candidates and practitioners. These events provide meaningful engagement opportunities for students to explore, analyze and discuss the important issues impacting policy at every level of government. The work of the center underscores the mission of the College to prepare students of diverse interests for lives of productive, socially responsible citizenship.
As a Friend of the Center for Politics and the People you can help us continue to attract thought leaders to campus and prepare students for careers in politics and government service.
