While the Ripon campus is marked by a plethora of green spaces, including the 130 acre Ceresco Prairie Conservancy, it also supports two indoor fitness centers — Bovay Fitness Center and J.M. Storzer Athletic Center.
The Bovay Fitness Center opened in the fall of 2005, and is open to all students, faculty and staff of the College. The center is currently equipped with four treadmills, four elliptical machines, two stationary bikes, two stair steppers, a ballet bar, stability balls, medicine balls, a variety of cable weight machines and free weights. The intramurals office also is located within the Bovay Fitness Center.
J.M. Storzer Athletic Center is the main athletic, health and wellness facility of the College. It includes a newly renovated weight room with a wide variety of free weights, universal machines, and cardio and abdominal training machines. In addition to a series of fields and outdoor tennis courts, the facility also includes the 1,000-seat Wyman gymnasium, racquet ball courts and an NCAA regulation six-lane, 25 yard lane pool equipped with one three-meter board and one one-meter board.
Those who wish to use the fitness centers must first fill out a medical release and information waiver.
