Type: Sanguisuga (F.W. Price). Kahnfibula, or boat fibula (Bettina Arnold).

Date: 8th century BCE

Description: Leech fibula with incised surface decorations in the form of geometric patterns. For comparisons, see Hugh Hencken and Peter Wells' work on the Mecklenburg Collection at Harvard University, a collection of mainly Iron Age material.
