Politics and Government’s Lamont Colucci named Significant Sig
Lamont Colucci, associate professor and chair of politics and government and interim director of the Center for Politics and the People at Ripon College, has been selected as a 2015 recipient of Sigma Chi fraternity’s Significant Sig Award.
The award is Sigma Chi’s highest recognition for achievement in a brother’s professional career and civic endeavors.
Past recipients include entrepreneurs and philanthropists Bud Adams, Kansas, 1944, and Jon Huntsman Sr., Pennsylvania, 1959; hotel corporation leader Bill Marriott, Utah, 1954; actor Jim Caviezel, Washington, 1993; House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, Maryland, 1963; and New Orleans Saints quarterback and Super Bowl XLIV MVP Drew Brees, Purdue, 2001, a diversity that reflects The Spirit of Sigma Chi.
