Ripon Alum to Dogsled across Arctic

Larry Daugherty ’98 will realize his dream to man a dogsled through the arctic. The Jacksonville Beach, Florida-based radiation oncologist has been selected as one of 20 participants in the 2013 Fjällräven Polar, a roughly 200-mile long dog-sledding adventure across the arctic tundra of Scandinavia. Smith Named ‘Person of the Year’
