Residence Life Team Takes 1st Place

RA-sketchweb A team of students and staff members from Ripon College Residence Life won first place in the annual WAICU Residence Life RA Conference Roll Call. In a skit conceptually created by Raymond Allen ’15, the staff created a political ad about why they supported Ripon College. To follow the conference theme of “True Colors,” they also represented the color of each item represented in the skit. The staff members dressed up as these different things about Ripon:

DARCIE FIRST ’13 – Wore white and represented the Little White School House

PENNY SHAPANSKY ’14 – Represented the College Days in the colors, black, white and gray to represent the state’s oldest college newspaper

RAYMOND ALLEN ’15 – Represented McKey Sullivan, Ripon’s America’s Next Top Model representing her with a rainbow of color and highlighting Ripon’s keen fashion sense

AMBERLY HERBECK ’14 – Dressed as Harrison Ford.

MISTY JOSLIN, residence hall director – Brought the sense of the green prairie to the skit

CHRIS STINT, former staff member – Represented the cookie factory and our Town Gown relationship while wearing Blue.

JESSICA JOANIS, director of Residence Life – a brown brick foundation of the College that creates a community of scholars.
