Head Coach John Dinegan

John Dinegan is in his fifth season as head coach of the Ripon
College women's tennis team and is working hard to turn the
program around. After winning just one match in each of his first two seasons,
Dinegan's team won three in 2007 and four in 2008. They will hope to keep improving and move up the ranks of the Midwest Conference this
season.
Besides coaching tennis, Dinegan also teaches courses in the exercise
science program, including weight training and fitness, along with
some method courses and a community recreation course. He also serves as an assistant coach for the Red Hawk men's basketball team.
Dinegan came to Ripon College after spending 19 years in Michigan Public Schools as a teacher, administrator and coach.
Dinegan received his bachelor's degree in physical education from
the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, before earning his master's
degree in athletic administration from Western Michigan University.
Dinegan and his wife, Emily currently reside in Ripon with their two sons, Patrick (4) and Adam (1).
