APPLETON, Wis. - Ripon wrapped up their regular season Thursday, with a 9-0 loss at Lawrence University in their final tune-up before the Midwest Conference Tournament. The Vikings allowed just three points to the Red Hawks in their three doubles matches, while winning all six singles matches in two sets. That victory gives Lawrence the MWC North Division title.

In doubles action, Ripon's Megan Sockness and Brooke Deans fared the best against the Vikings (12-4, 4-0 MWC), losing to Emily Dalton and Emma Kent 8-2. In singles play, Ripon's Erin Gebhardt was the Red Hawk that was closest to victory, losing to Tara Lahtinen 7-5, 6-4.

Ripon (4-8, 1-3 MWC) will miss out on the team championships at the MWC Tournament, but will compete in the individual competitions all day on Saturday and Sunday in Madison.
