MONMOUTH, Ill. - After two wins in a row, Ripon's luck finally ran against Monmouth College. The Fighting Scots outshot the Red Hawks 32-12 in the gtame, including a 22-4 advantage in the second half, en route to a 3-1 victory.

Monmouth got on the board early, as Christa Davidson nailed her 12th goal of the season in the sixth minute, giving Monmouth an early lead. The Red Hawks hung tough though, scoring a goal of their own in the 15th minute, off the foot of Michelle Ebert. The two teams battled evenly the rest of the half and the game was tied at intermission.

The Fighting Scots began the second half much like they did the first half, with a Davidson goal. In the 58th minute, Davidson took a pass from Audrey Bellefeuille, for her 13th goal of the year, giving Monmouth the lead for good. Amanda Neira added an insurance goal eight minutes later to cap the scoring.
