RIPON, Wis. – Chris Trudell has been named head coach of Ripon College’s women’s soccer program. Trudell, who is active in the Fox Valley, Wis., soccer community, served as assistant coach of Ripon’s women’s team last season.

Trudell is president of the Paper Valley Youth Soccer Club in Neenah, Wis., and has been coaching youth girls and boys in the club since 1994. He has been on the club’s board of directors since 1999 and also serves as tournament director. In addition to assisting at Ripon, Trudell served Neenah’s St. Mary Central High School as head junior-varsity/assistant varsity coach for girl’s soccer last year.

“I am very happy to name Chris Trudell as our women’s soccer coach. Chris did an outstanding job as our assistant soccer coach last season,” said Ripon College director of athletics Bob Gillespie.

Trudell replaces Jim Kloes who served as head coach of women’s soccer at Ripon from 2003-06.
