NEENAH, Wis. - The women's golf team traveled to Neenah over the weekend to take part in the UW-Oshkosh Invitational. The Red Hawks faced some stiff competition at the event, going up against six schools from the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, as well as Midwest Conference foe

Despite the team score, Ripon's Gina Heckl had an outstanding couple of days. The senior finished tied for 13th overall among individuals, shooting a two round score of 177. Heckl finished with a 91 in day one of the tournament, before cutting a few strokes off her score the following day, with an 86. Heckl was just three strokes away from cracking the top 10.
