DECATUR, Ill. - Ripon dropped a couple spots after round one of the Millikin Invitational over the weekend, finishing the tournament 12th out of 13 teams. The Red Hawks were tied for 10th after an opening round of 340, but shot a 369 in day two, giving them a 12th best 709 for the tournament. They finished ahead of fellow Midwest Conference school Illinois College.

The Red Hawks were led by Rylee Berndt, who tied for 57th in individual competition. Berndt shot an 84 on the first day, while finishing up with a 91 in second day action. Ben Lukoski wasn't far off that pace, finishing one stroke behind Berndt, with a two-round score of 176. Raj Pelon was right behind that, with a 177, which tied for 67th. Billy Kollatz and Tyler McMurray rounded out the Ripon scores with a two-round score of 181 and 208, respectively.

Ripon's next match will be on April 12-13, when they'll host the Ripon Invite. That event will take place at Lawsonia Golf Course in Green Lake, Wis.
