HORTONVILLE, Wis. - Ripon College shot a combined team score of 353 at Saturday's Lawrence Invitational, placing them 11th out of the 13 competing teams. That score was just three strokes behind Beloit College, and 21 strokes out of second place. Carthage College won the meet with a score of 302.
The Red Hawks were led by Mike Moldenhauer, who shot a 40 on the back nine, to finish with an 82, which was tied for 15th among individuals. Rylee Berndt was second among Ripon golfers, shooting an 89, while Raj Pelon tied for 45th place with a 90. Billy Kollatz and Ben Lukoski rounded out the scores with a 92 and 93, respectively.
Ripon will be in action again on Sunday, as they'll take part in the St. Norbert Invitational. That meet will be played at Mid Vallee Golf Club in DePere, Wis.
