RIPON, Wis. - The Red Hawk golf team got back in the swing of things Sunday in their lone home invite of the season. Ripon's 'A' team tied for fourth place with a team score of 352, while their 'B' team shot a 393, which was sixth out of seven teams. Viterbo University took home the title with a team score of 328.
Ripon was led by Mike Moldenhauer, who shot a seven-over par 79. Rylee Berndt shot the second lowest score of any Red Hawk, with an 87, while Raj Pelon wasn't far behind, with a score of 89. Ben Lukoski rounded out the team score by shooting a 97.
Michael Kocher shot a 92 to lead Ripon's 'B' team, which finished with a team score of 393. Bill Chizek and Bill Olm chipped in with a 98 and 99, respectively, while Ben Metzler added a 104.
The Red Hawks will travel to Beloit College for a meet on Saturday, before playing in a two-day event at Carroll College, beginning on Sunday.
