RIPON, Wis. - After three years as head coach of the Red Hawk women's golf team, Bill Peters has resigned. The former golf pro at Tuscumbia Golf Club in Green Lake, Wis. stepped down this week, after being hired as the head pro at Whispering Springs Golf Club in Fond du Lac, Wis.

In his three seasons as head coach of the Red Hawks, Peters led Ripon to two fifth place finishes, as well as a school-best second place finish, in 2005. The search for Peter's replacement will begin immediately.
