RIPON, Wis. - Ripon women's golfer Gina Heckl has been named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week for the second consecutive week, as released Tuesday by the conference office. Heckl achieved a career-best round of 76 on Saturday during round one of the UW-Stevens Point Invitational.

Heckl's round of 76 was the MWC’s top round of the season, breaking her previous season-best score of 86. The senior from Suring, Wis. followed Saturday's first round score with a second round 85, giving her a two-day total of 161, which placed her in a tie for third-place individually in the 45-player field.
