RIPON, Wis. - Ripon's Demba Camara had one of the best showings at last weekend's Eastbay/Pointer Invitational at UW-Stevens Point. Tuesday, he was named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week for his efforts.

The sophomore placed in the top three in two events on Saturday. Camara placed second in the triple jump with a distance of 43’07.00”, which marked the second longest jump of his career in the event. He is currently third in the conference in the triple jump. Camara then earned a third place finish in the long jump with a distance of 20’05.00”.
